I’m going to talk to you about Jasey-Jay Anderson. He is an Olympic Snowboarder who is 34 years old and he was born in April of 1975. He was born in Val-Morin, Quebec. Jasey-Jay’s parents were both ski instructors and his brother Jayme introduced him to snowboarding. At the age of 14 Jasey-Jay won his first medal. He won more than 24 gold medals.
Jasey-Jay loves to do a lot of things for example: water activites, such as canoeing, kayaking and surfing, but most are in summer such as hiking, kite boarding, mountain biking. For winter it’s snowshoeing and cross country skiing. The last hobby he has is painting. All of these are cool hobbies and he loves them all.
Jasey picked this sport out of all the Olympic sports because, his family enjoyed doing many sports but because his brother discovered snowboarding and Jasey tried it and loved snowboarding so he joined the Quebec snowboarding team.
I love snowboarding. I’ve known about it for awhile and have always been interested in it because it’s like skateboarding but in the snow and of course no wheels… and its more fun because if you fall you won’t be scraped, but fall into the snow, which is kinda fun. Also for snowboarding there are lessons for beginners and you have a large open area to move. My opinion is that snowboarding is the funnest sport to me.
Jasey-Jay Anderson’s best finish was in fifth place in the snowboard cross four years ago in Turin. Instead of racing in snowboard cross and parallel giant slalom, Anderson was beginning to focus only on Alpine racing despite. I believe Jasey finished on the podium in his final three world cup events last winter, wining at La-Morina Spain, and Valmaleno, Italy. Anderson hopes for a strong finish to his Olympic career before he retires.
